This position is located in the South Island of New Zealand Within a modern facility with outpatient clinics, a maternity unit, palliative care unit, X-ray, Lab and mobile surgical bus service.

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2-3 years postgraduate experience as you will be directly responsible for the patients on our 15 bed acute medical inpatient ward. You will be part of a team of rostered Medical Officers. After hours cover will include some emergency GP work. Support is provided by a visiting physician and on site 5 Doctor GP practice. You will be part of a Medical Student teaching programme associated with the faculty of the Otago Medical School.
Salary Package: $150,000 - $180,000 including Housing, Vehicle and Bonus
