5 year experience in general & Specialized Construction company operating in and around Central Asia, handling near $25 million in business this year, actively seeks professional and deadline oriented Construction Project Manager to run challenging, exciting semi-permanent housing, office, and other troop quarters on American military base.
The best candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of construction management or supervision experience. Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus. Candidates must have prior construction experience, running $2-$10 Million dollar projects or more. Must be a highly personable, hands on, build anything construction type. Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project. Ideal candidates will be a professional constructor who engages in the design of temporary structures, site planning and layout, cost estimating, planning and scheduling, management of project related issues, materials procurement, equipment selection, cost control, and quality management. Additionally, candidate will have excellent communication and relationship skills due to experience working with US Corp of Engineers or other military/government groups. Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to organization, administration, and coordination of all elements involved in construction labor, temporary and permanent materials, equipment, supplies and utilities, and time management in order to complete construction projects on schedule, within budget and according to specified standards of quality performance.
