SUBSEA DREDGING LIMITED manages the contract for the Southern Nigeria National Energy/Construction works. OPL as one of the major infrastructure projects under the $8.5 Million construction/development project. The contract requires SDL to undertake the planning and detailed engineering design for a program to improve the condition of approximately 3 projects and replace approximately 8,000km oil-pipes, scheduled for completion at the end of 2011.

World-Class Oil Gas Engineering consultancy seeks experienced Engineers to fill various engineering positions in the company to join her team in Nigeria. Positions include;

** Mechanical
** Electrical
** Civil
** Instrumentation
** Pipeline/Welding
** Drilling
** Field
** Project/Managers
** Environmental/Safety
** Petroleum etc.

As the best fit for this role, you will be an engineering degree qualified leader with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

JOB EXPLANATION:
The Contract involves the expansion of the Opuma Phase III project; which involves the construction of and maintenance of five platforms and a gas export pipeline to aid optimum Exploitation of crude oil Potential due to Natural gas that is currently flared in the Opuma Field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Maintaining a every day log in line with the company plan

Carrying out quality control checks as defined on quality plans as directed by construction superintendent.

Familiarity with specifications and to ensure that works are carried out to these specifications

To witness critical installation activities as defined on contractor’s quality plans
 
SALARY RANGE:  Minimum of $5,000.00 - $30,000.00(Monthly)/Negotiable.

EDUCATIONAL / PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate must have qualifications leading to Professional Engineer Status with a thorough understanding of Engineering or similar industries. As the post requires technical skills, for a management qualification or evidence of training would be an advantage.
